something that realys drives me mad:)

why does it takes so long to cast a spell.
when i'm a mage and i want to use a spell i have to:
1: select the right carracter (mage)
2: go to my 'secundary attack tab'
3: select the spell
4: right click on a enemy

and when i want to use another i have to do it all again...

why isn't there an easyer way? like a spell bar where you just have to click on the spell (or special abillity)

When you have made your specific spell made second attack, you can always use the right mouse button to cast your chosen spell.

It would be nice to be able to swap between 'Right Button Spells' simply by pressing pre-assigned keys. On a related topic it would be nice to hotkey potions too.

As a sidenote : In Spellforce, you klick on an enemy FIRST, THEN you "fire" the spell (or whatever) ...

in Kotor, action are queued <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

pause the game, enter action, unpause the game <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I think it's a good way <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Yeah the queue in Kotor was great except the AI tended to put stupid actions in it when left unattended.

Anyway in such games (Vampire: The masquarade, baldur's gate) with active pause I tend only to use the pause button as a panic button, or when Superior Strategic Approach (TM) is needed, not for mundane things as swapping between spells.

But what the hack, one has to adapt to the interface, if the other way around is not possible.

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" /> You can assign hotkeys to select spells, as well as to use potions (at least the ones that show up in the potion bar). Character selection can also be done by hotkey.

You might wanna restrict this to saying "at least in the full version".
Or wasn´t it mentioned that the Demo still lacks some Hotkey features the release, however, will bring along?! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

"Superior Strategic Approach" - nice one!
Sounds ingenious. Have to definitely remember it for future occasions... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

I was talking about the demo when I said you can assign hotkeys to spell selection and potion use, as well as (individual) character selection. The full version will/should include additional hotkeys for party selection, re-centering screen focus and screen movement.
