Do you remember a zillion dialog lines in Diablo

I don't even remember diablo (must have been 4-6 years ago)

My bad! They did not stamp it a Diablo clone, but others (who are not mentioned) did. I guess somehow, someway, Diablo set the bar. Diablo is not a true RPG, IMHO. You get quests, then you fight everthing from Hell to complete them. Items are fun, but you can't carry all of them and stash them away, like you can in our Larian games. Humf! Whats the use in getting sweet items then having to drop them on the ground while you try to make room for them? In the Divinity Universe, you can carry whatever items you want as long as your character is strong enough. Thats the way it should be. Ah, I could go on and on...
They are not Diablo clones, they are not Diablo clones, they are not Diablo clones...

I agree with you on the fact that Diablo is not a true RPG. It is a hack and slash with RPG elements, and there is a difference.

Well I think they do it mostly for reference - "the possibility tthat any dude know it is higher with Blizzards products than with anything else"

Especially german gaming mags are infamous for this.

For Sacred, there is a *huge* mass of ever-spawning monsters - again and again and again and again, you get it ? There have been several complaints about it (with no visible plans to change that rate).

However, some people fear that this might have been made under the (im)pression of german gaming mags who would say that this is good so.

I wonder how strong the influebce of gaming mags upon gameplay is, at all ?

When you find a big kettle of crazy, it's best not to stir it.
