So, dear gamer, you've become Divine, got your spirit spell from the Black Dragon? Made your way down to the South part to cross the water in spirit-form and you've finally reached the island? Then go up those stairs and enter..

You'll reach a small platform with 6 paths leading from it:

Now you have to kill the 5 Black Ring Members in their dungeons first, so the spikes barring your way north to the Demon of Lies will disappear. There's no use in shortcuts with pyramid-teleporting, you have to fight all of them first, no time limit.
If you don't know who you'll encounter: I wrote down the crystal colours, too surrounding these dungeons.

Ok, now the way is free to fight the Demon, don't let your quest log entry get you down, it's part of the game plot smile

Done it? You've encountered no end bug if you tried to kill him with summoning, scorpions, freeze etc? If you see him standing there with fire coming out of his chest - then reload = endgame bug.
