This is exactly why it works for hack'n'slashers like BG:DA but *not* for story-rich real RPGs with meaningful dialogue, in my opinion. The 2nd player gets to tag along, not participating in the dialogue, merely a lackey. Why not play one of the games that is well designed for this sort of play (BG:DA etc) rather than trying to force it onto a game like BD that is as much about story and dialogue as combat?
