ok i found the way to port into the masion but what order do i do the levers in and should i be doing this before i get anyone to tell me to do this i just was wondering around town and found the port and i dont want to mess up a quest by doing it out of order any help would be greatly appriciated ty <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/kissyou.gif" alt="" />

you have to unlock the four other doors before you can get into the door to the west.

i'll only say NW then SE...figure it out... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

The object of the puzzle is to close all 4 door at the exact same time. Have fun.

greetings. i have managed to get into the treaure room in sir patricks mansion, so i ahve his title deed. What do i do with it. i thought maybe the other rich chap may want it but alas he goesn't make any mention of it. i am just carrying it around hoping to meet someone who is interested

please help

Sir Dante gives the quest to steal this deed from Sir Patrick. Did you get this quest from him in the 1st place?
Procedure:
Commander Ralph tells you something about the murdered Duke and suggests, you should visit Sir Dante.
Sir Dante is willing to give you info if you steal the deed from his rival Patrick first.

What are you missing? Maybe the dialogué with Commander Ralph? He's south of Castle Stormfist in his house.

i had a chat with sir patrick and he asked who referred me to him. i gave an answer which was not to his liking. i then quit the dialog box to check my info. when i spoke to him again he didn't want to talk about it! have i ended the quest by upsetting him or is this unrelated?

I did not fully understand - you used a name he didn't like, right? I have forgotten all options ( Zandalor, Ralph and who were the others?) Then you talked to P. again and he has no option for the assassin guild?

it seems that he no options other than:

'tell me about the other wealthy man in verdistis'.
this led to 'so you don't like him' or something. nothing about a quest.

i have tried all possible courses of conversation with him now and none lead to a quest with the title dead or anything else.
do i have to re-do something or have i ruined my chances of finishing this quest?

Hm, you can't get the invitation to the castle from Ralph for this quest (but for the Elrath quest you get one), and you get one from Alix, so the main plot is not broken. I can't remember, if another one had this problem. I would reload in your case. Again => you exited the convo via the "cross"? Or did you have an option such as... "let's forget about it?"

You have "ruined" several quests in fact, because Dante leads you to the assassin guild master.

Which answer did you give, please? I'd like to check out the impact in one of my saves.

No quest from DANTE - no deed reward - no assassin - no chase - no 2nd assassin - hm, what happens to the ghost quest then? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

This is new for me - please, tell me your given "answer" AND how you exited. IIRC, I could give several, angered P. but had no other consequence.

1. I chose "Ralph" first. Dante is angry. My option "nono, was a joke". But I didn't choose it, just exited via cross => [color:"red"]bad breaker [/color] No chance to get the quest anymore.

2. I chose "Zandalor" => could continue to "what do you want me to do"? => Exited via cross without taking this option, re-entered the convo => "what do you want me to do" was still there, got the quest.

3. Same for Smiruk as in 1 if I did not take "nono was a joke" but exited via cross. [color:"red"]bad breaker [/color]

4."this is not important (where I got the info from)" - convo lead to quest.

[color:"yellow"]Conclusion => you had the only possibility to break getting the quest from Dante, by exiting the convo at this stage via cross and not choosing "was a joke". Because "was a joke" gives you the opportunity to have all 4 options again.[/color]

Sorry <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> - this is indeed a new quest breaker for me and I have played this game a lot of times. It's just.... I don't exit convos normally, otherwise I would have known. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />

Do you have a recent save you can reload and redo that conversation?
If not it may be fixable by the technique in the topic FIX for broken Imp Council Member quest. Let me know, and I'll find a save at that point, and test it out.
