meteorstrike is the best skill in the catacombs...and if you get to level 5 in thta process just get meteorstrike level 2...

as for the summoning skills...well...I find them quite useless in the first part of the game

so just get meteorstrike and maybe a level in deadly gift if you find some scorpion traps...because a scorpion per catacomb level makes thing really easy
