@HPS I could not agree more with you. Sadly those days that people think bad about tatoos are not over here in Greece but there is been a little progress though. My dad has two tatoos and he had made them in a very difficult time. All people thought that he was in prison but my dad just did them when he met my mom and loved her. So he made her a tatoo on the chest in the place of his heart. He will kill me if he learns that I will do a tatoo too. But then again how could I avoid not to have one
I really hate those roses too. The size of my palm would be sure great for me. Thnx
@Janggut Yeap. It is culture. And it has magical powers. At least that is what people believed in the old times. Your people have a great history in tattoo making.
@faile Take your time. Whenever you feel like it. It would be a great joy for me to have the design of a friend on me. My tattoo then will be more special and... who knows? maybe be magic too
@Spick You should think about it because if you do a tattoo and then come to Kos you will not be able to swim in the sea. Summer time is not a good season for tattoo making
Now I have the desing... I still have to find the courage... Despite what people may believe about goths, I hate pain. Hate it
You can have my absence of faith you can have my everything...

the pain is merely a means to an end. it is bearable because it is the only way. besides, you'll go numb after a while.

I have always wanted a tattoo, but never got to it yet. I will get one when I'm bit older. I'm very skinny only 21 yet so I'll get some extra weight.
I'm also not sure what to tattoo, but I'm most fond on having a saying/line text on the bottom of my back, also not sure on what text I want. But I got time enough to pounder over it. Something about my way of thinking/living. Something like carpe diem, to cheesy tho. More like Life To Lifeless.
It's one of these days...

No offense meant Dragh but (at least here) the lower back is really only tatooed on ladies

makes sense, it should be my upper back then right? considering ladies have broader hips and men broader shoulders. But still I think it looks very good there.

Yea Dragh, I think a saying line on the lower back is a girls thing. I would more prefer the lower neck between shoulder blades or (what definitely comes up ) the underside of my underarm (with the name of my son/daughter). But if you like it there.. do it! don't care what others say!
fail: it was the same when i got my arm done, but after three, four hours it felt more like someone scratches your arm with a bodkin piece of broken glas and the way the artist was holding my arm felt a bit like stinging-nettle. So i had to stopp session after five hours
Nob: Know what you mean! when he comes to my sholder and over the collarbone, I thought I gonna die now... Well, but a realy painless place is the calf. It felt a bit like "hollydays" compared to other places
Stick: I also would disadwise from getting tatoot nearly before summer! Sunlight and saltwater will bleach a tatoo anyway but if its quite fresh then even more and faster. So I would do it afterwards. (well only my opinion )

I'm glad to know it know.
I'm thinking I won't stop with 1 tattoo once I got one. So eventually one willl end up on my lower back I wo't tattoo my underarms, because I know there will be a lot of times I'll need to hide them. Ppl are still like that. So on hot summerdays at work, I would like to wear shortsleeves.
But hey, I got plenty of time to figure this all out.

True Dragh. Think about it well. You must be certain that you want it and that you will like the design for the rest of your life.
