Most of the enemies in Divinity were non-human; some in Beyond Divinity are human. Even without any additional gore or violence that might be enough to bump the rating up. I remember hearing about a first person shooter game that had to change the alien's blood from red to green to get a lower rating.
Just look the demo, at start you have alot of severed bodies parts and so on. And now you even can zoom to see them more closely, i suppose it's enough to raise the rate.
Raze, you are right, green "blood" is known here in Germany. Games are often censored because of their violence. Although I can't remember censored RPGs ...
