Yes UbiSoft is a french company and Infogrames is a french company too.
But UbiSoft is only the publisher for the german version of Beyond Divinity.
The publisher for the french version is Focus.

I don't know who is in charge of the translation of the dialogs and for the implementing of the french voices.
Larian or Focus ???
I have already asked this question but nobody has been able to answer to it.
