Same here. Also I woulnd't mind a coupple of battlefields in the very easy mode (Yeeah senceless voilence )

1. tactical (all subquests + battlefields)
2. hardcore (only main quest, a couple of subquests + battlefields)
3. very easy (battlefields only)
4. waiting for ˛

When i saw your poll, i wanted to vote tactical.
Finally i voted hardcore because i have suicidal tendancies.

In that mode enemies fall dead from laughing or stupidity when they see the hero and DK approach

I'll play in the Tactical mode and if I can reply in hardcore. I do see myself repalying a game for the first time.

I think I'll say action to be honest. I have no desire to be struggling through. Find my 'sea legs' first and then try again at higher difficulty.

I'll try tactical first, exploring around a bit, and then, at probably level 10-15 I will noticed I did something very stupid (stupid skills etc) and will start over again

typical

The new thing in Beyond Divinity is that you can throw a skill that you do not need anymore.
You have to pay for it and it looks expensive but it is really interesting.

In the demo we can't sell things and we don't have enough gold but later in the game i think that it could be possible.

This may have been explained somewhere else, but are the different modes basically just difficulty levels, each one with tougher (and smarter, I'm assuming) enemies than the last?

Tactical. I pretty much played Divine Divinity like that anyway.

Definitely tactical. I didn't find the demo very hard and DD itself was a little too easy. I enjoy using the brain; you know what they say, use it or lose it!!

I voted tactical, but that could change depending on what the differences are in more detail.

I voted for tactical too. But I don´t know how it will turn up. Perhaps during the game I change my mind. (And then I will come running to you asking what to do etc )

"No, they should stay home and take care of the children"

This is an example of a "suicidal" forum comment...

Do I hear my wife comming up the stairs, oops, delete, delete, DELETE (whack, crunch, hack, aieeeeeeeeeeeee!!!, more crushing sounds and bones snapping)...

That's why I will play tactical...

Have to go now to do the dishes and take the garbage out, see you later!!

Why is hack and slash concidered "very easy"? Maybe hack and slash means weaker enemies, but a larger quantity, balancing the game difficulty out. And maybe hardcore is simply VERY few enemies, but only strong enemies.

Larian hasn't really commented on these game-modes yet, but I think that they are all basically the same difficulty, since you can regulate the difficulty at the beginning too. Different doesn't mean easier or harder. It COULD, but it doesn't necesarily have to.
