Last I heard, quite awhile ago, they said they would like to release another patch to try to clear up remaining issues, but did not speculate if or when that would happen. If they are able to devote the resources to Divinity, I would guess it would not be until the English version of Beyond Divinity is out the door, they update the German version with the last minute additions to the English version, and deal with any post release problems that may crop up.
