Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) General dolls???

well, ive been gone for a while beating DD for the 500th time and kinda been reading up on when beyond will come out so i could get it first day and then stopped reading the forums for a while. but there are a few things i wanted to know, what exactly are dolls?? how much will <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> cost? and..why was the demo soo short <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />? i was kinda hoping it would last as long as the <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> demo.

the game will cost different depending were you get it.

probably 40 or so in most aras. maybe 50 for the special edition with boook.

the dolls are like summonded thngs, but they are controled by you. like characters before they go to far, or get killed through co,bat.

A BOOK

I think it just comes with the book. There's another special edition which is bundled with Divine Divinity.

The summoning dolls are like temporary characters. There are four in the game and they can be summoned for a while when required. They need time to recharge, though. Like characters, they can be given equipment and you can give them your skill points (from the Hero or DeathKnight). I'm not sure how death affects them.

is the special edition even REAL or is it something u made up so u could conspire about something that has to do with a book?

It's a 50 page novella by Rhianna Pratchett, called Child of The Chaos. Story is probably about the child you carry out of the black ring's lair at the end of Divine Divinity.

I'd love to get it, but I'm afraid we won't be able to get it in an 'easy' way

I don't recollect that the edition with the book is a special edition. As far as I remember it the booklet is just an extra.

The book won't be available in every game, therefor the edition with the book, is a special edition.
