Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General that vampire has no weaknesses or does he?

I,m in a bit of a mess in the game becuase i am in that place north of the dwarven village and i can't find his weaknesses!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there a similar position that assists in killing the vampire in the cellar of the wine merchant in Verdistis?

now i am only level 6

You can wait until you level up and get better equipment to take out the vampire. Neither one is going anywhere, and there are no time limits on these quests. For the vampire in Verdistis, though, you would probably want to do that before going to the castle. Actually it can be left later than that, there is another quest involving Mardaneus, and some people have had problems reporting back to him about George's murder if they have completed the other quest first.

Once you are strong enough....meteorstrike over and over and over....he folded against that for my mage. But yeah, if you need, level up a few more times and go back for him. I don't think I tackled the vampire until about level 15-20...somewhere in there.

im a bit wiser on the game now i have restarted the game and i have summoned all but the elf in the council of 7 but there is a glitch where one of the 3 artifacts have got stuck in the wall but i have started the game(once again) and see if that will sort it

You shouldn't need to restart the game again. You can likely use Telekinesis to get the staff from the wall; mage spell books can be bought, or you can use iZakaroN's SaveEditor (or from Kiya's site, with description) to give yourself the skill points to learn it.

If that doesn't work, you can replace the staff;

i just use freeze on the harder baddies - im pretty sure it was possible to freeze him from memory but it's been a while
