After a few months of travellign through unknown land, Joliekiller arrived at a small farmers village a few miles from Viroeth.
He was hoping for a place to spend the night and eat something, but all he found were destroyed houses and pieces of corpses all around.
What on earth happend here???
Jolie could see that the destruction was pretty new, so the one(s) responsable for it might still be in the neighbourhood.
He looked around carefully to see if anyone was stille here.
Suddenly he heared a small cry of help, coming from a shed on the north side of the village. Jolie went up there and opend it and saw a little boy, heavly wounded on the floor.
He's still alive... I have to help him.
"Hold on little boy, i'll help you. Just lay still." Jolie cast lay on hands on the boy, but in vain. It was to late already.
All the boy could say before he died was "Demons..." and something about an artifact of some kind.
The boy died in his hands. Jolie buried the boy properly and then went on for Viroeth, maybe he could find more about what happend here or about the artifact.
