The Vampire looked at the pithyful Paladin and his cronies and sneered.
Waving a hand He mutterd to the left over members of the gang, " Go and get them my children" and sent the gang running at the Paladin and fiery looking companion.
Intoning some words, the vampire created a blue shimmering field around himself, that anyone with some spell craft could see was a 'Protection from Good' spell, the Vampire then waited to see what his adversaries would do to his 'Children' ....
