When the vampire creature put up his shield of defense i knew my remaining power wouldn't be enough to harm him in aniway...but it could weaken his shield a bit..and with a simple gesture i casted my fire spells...(heh it looks more impressive then it is)
It took less then a second for my spell to hit against the shield of that creature..for an untrained eye it would look like nothing happened...but i never failed a casting before...and i haven't done it now either..
The Vampire creature seemingly knowing that i was out of power had a little smile that just screamed triumph..
"hah" i said " You'd really think that my magic is my strongest point? You'd better geuss again" Off course it was a bit of a bluff but not entirely a lie..my skills with the sword is about as good as my magic..but it isn't much use with my strength gone...(I shall not lose to this vampire!! if only i wasn't so stupid to cast holy fire! )
Holy fire is one of the 7 fires of the universe..it is said that it's been given by the god's to the highest of paladins..but i haven't been a pladin in hundreds of lives (my power doesn't even come to a quarter of what it was back then..especially my magical power..)
To remember a past life doesn't mean you're able to do the same things...it's just that the memory's of that life seem to be from this life..i still am not used to knowing things without being able to perform em..not without endangering myself and others that is...
The Vampire smile of triumph only dissapeared for minor instance before showing again..
With a dark grin i drew my sword and sakaba...and started the attack on the minions..
