I shoved my sakaba back into it's sheath to catch the garlic, but one of the minions punched me before i could get it, making me fall a few paces away..
from somewhere inside me came the feeling of embarrassment and fury..(why? what are these feelings?) An answer came from a memory of one of my lives..(Was/is That me?)
What i saw was a man totally engulved with fire that seemed to dance around him..The man was facing a lot of demons all by himself and he just stood there with that vague grin on his face..
"You must be mad challenging us like that human" one of the demons said to him.."You cannot stop us, we will destroy your kingdom"
The smile of the man only became bigger and he said "Sorry, but i have no time..you die now!!"
Suddenly the fire around him changed to the colours of white, black and blue..
"By the 7 fires of the Universe die!!" and then the fires combined into a flare directly striking the demons, hitting them all at once..
(No, it can't..that attack must have made him tired!) But he just stood there..muttering something about stupid demons and that he has never been defeated before, how they could even think of beating him...
(that's insanity!! I can hardly summon any of those fires and he just combines them into one attack like it's nothing)
Suddenly a voice said "that used to be you, you know"
"what? That was me in another life? it can't be! How come i'm not that powerfull now then?"
"every life has it's own standard of strengths and ability's..every life is different.."
" what use do i have in seeing and knowing that then"
"It's for you to remember who you are..allthough you are not that powerfull..you still have the skills and the knowledge..You are a knight, but you don't fight like one now..remember your lives and apply the knowledge"
"it's easy for you to say! I don't know what i can and cannot apply to this live"
"You do know..you're just to stubborn to believe it"
"No i don't know! And what do you mean stubborn?"
But there was no reply, i don't know what the meaning of that was..but it left me more confused then ever...
I took a quick look around to see what happened but everything was just like how it was before i had that confusing dream or whatever it was..
The minion that punched me came charging to me to finish me of..but the soldier from the inn bashed into him, giving me the chance too stand up..
Still confused i looked around to see what excatly was happening..(oh yes, the garlic!)
I looked around to see where it fell.. aah there it was close to the place where i seemd to have dropped my sword..
I took a quick sprint toward it..allthough it didn't seemed necessary cause the minion were beeing kept busy by the paladin and the soldier..and the vampire was still at his place watching...I picked up my sword and the garlic and said in a loud voice to the vampire "Hey look what i got here.."
The vampire that was occupied watching his minions fight the soldier and paladin..and somehow seemed to have forgotten that i was still around..(he probably must concentrate on his minions to make them stronger and more effective..) he looked at what i was holding and recognised it immediatly cause he hissed and and dissapeared saying " You'll die in a moment of weakness "
And with that he was gone...
