Ok Divine Divinity has been recommended to me by friends, magazines, online web sites so i have finally decided to see what all the fuss is about, however an unfortunate dilemma has come up i can choose to get divine divinity or Baldurs Gate II. I loved the original Baldurs Gate so i am really tempted to just give DD a miss and continue with the old (and tired) dungeons and dragons based rpg if simply to see where the story goes next.
But i am still unsure and what i am asking you to do is tell me why i should get DivDiv rather than BGII. I know absolutely nothing about it and although i have high hopes i am not sure i want to chance buying a game that could turn out to be nothing more than some silly retro gamers idea of a good rpg. I mean i loved ultima, and i currently like Morrowind and KOTOR, how does DivDiv compare?
