Hi all ,

I just bought my copy of Divine Divinity and am really anxious to get "stuck in". But alas, looks like I'm just stuck. Everything is working great except for the very anoying part of ALL THE LEGS on my screen. Let me explain...

When I see the "adventure screen" I can move around with my character, no problem and see everything. But, starting at about ten centimeters from my character in every direction i can see my characters legs repeated in black, blocking my vision and, needless to say, annoying the h@ll out of me ! They are black and move when my character does, just hang still when my character stops. I WANT TO GET RID OF THEM! I am lost, please help me...

I have been thinking myself... I have all the recent drivers, 600MHz PentiumIII and all the requirements are met. The only thing I can see causing problems is the video card itself. I have one embedded on my motherboard (4MB) and have the old but reliable (up 'till now... ) Voodoo 2 3dfx for backup. So that should be enough no???

Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

Kind regards to all on the board,

Odd Mute.

Oh by the way, I do have the latest Patch installed.

Yeah I know, but I just posted my question and then I figured it might have been better to post it in the "Technical Support" department...

Anyway, the problem seems to have been solved for now (lets all take a minute and prey it stays that way...) and I will continue the post in the "technical Support" section. My appologies for the double post!

Hi,

Well as said the problems looks solved for the moment but maybe you can explain me how to include screenshots in a post? Who knows what problems I might run into later... may come in handy later!

If you hit ctrl-F11 in Divinity, the game will save a screenshot in the the '..\Divine Divinity\Run\capture' folder, as a png file if you have the patch installed, jpg otherwise. This does not work during cut scenes or conversations, but external screenshot programs can be used then.

Once you have the screenshot, you may want to crop it or add text descriptions, then save it as a (most often) a jpeg. Png files are higher quality, but usually significantly larger.
graphics programs, for editing screen shots

Next you need a web host (your ISP may offer you some space) where you can upload the file, to be linked to in a forum post. The following topic has some info, though you would not need hotlinking (you could link to a html page with the screenshot, rather than the screenshot itself).
free web host with hotlinking? (for avatars)
