How do I climb the rocks at the
west part of the dark forest?
Is that possible?

I've found the secret cave, behind the big tree.
Do I have to pass the cave to get upsters?

For the secret cave, you need to find a teleporter pad to get to the easter egg area west of there, though it is a little more complicated than that.

The only two places you are supose to be able to get up on in the mountains are the castle and warrior's guild. It is possible to toss a teleporter stone onto the mountain; you will not be able to walk there, but can move by repeatedly tossing a teleporter stone and teleporting to it. For an example, see
