does this preview include an improvement on the skill tree deal. i preferred the one from DD to the sample they gave in the demo and i felt that the icons were spurious at best, they weren't even remotely related to a skill theme to make it identifiable.

No change in the skilltree system, but plenty of new icons, you will likely find ones more suitable.

Everyman, it's an advertisement. At the top right you should see a link that says "continue to Beyond Divinity" You don't have to sit through the ad; just click on the link.

As much as one hates adds, they are what brings food to the (p)reviewers table and keeps what they write freely accessible.

idd it could be worse at least these adds are for movies or games(and fit in the site) and not for "how to add..." or other 18+ adds. The ones I realy hate are popups that if one closes them 10 new popups come up. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

Personally, I hate *everything* that's an pop-up. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
But I can make exceptions, though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Get a pop-up blocker.
I use Free Surfer. No spyware included. Stops about 98% of pop-ups.
And if you want pop-ups on a certain site (like a game site for looking at pics, for example) you can add in the link and it will allow them only from that site.

Popup blockers kill sites. I mean, the reason some sites have popups is so that they can afford the fast servers. I'd rather put up with popups than destroy some of my favorite sites.

You are right - if some popups weren't so ... notorious.
Popups blinkimg in all possibly colours in every possible speed - no, that's enough for me.
If they were more decent - I'd agree, then.

I use a pop-up blocker and just add sites to my ok/safe list so that I do recieve thier pop-ups. Most are just anoying adds that have nothing to do with the site I am visiting.
