I have the Key to the garden from Blake and I have the book that the 3 men gave to me. But I cannot open the gate to Nericons Garden? Am I missing something here? Sleep might help.
Thanks in advance ;-)

Are you sure you still have the key? It will also open the cemetery gate, being destroyed in the process. There is another key in the alchemist's shop in Ars Magicana (see also the next web page). With the latest patch (maybe just in games started after installing it?) you can open the gate with level 5 Lockpick.

You can also download another key;
Lost Items - guide and directory of inventory files

or jump past the gate;
Teleporting Anywhere, via hex editor

Ah man, that what it is, I opened the graveyard with it. Bummer, how do I happen to get the one in the shop every time I try and go in there he locks the doors?
Freeze Him and run like a mad dog? LOL or could I go to the save b4 I opened the gate to I suppose that would be easier. If I did that would I still be able to solve the Duke Quest?
Thanks.

If you check the first link I posted, the next page shows how to get get into the back of the alchemist's shop. You can also re-load a previous save. You will get to the graveyard by following the main plot, so don't have to worry about unlocking the gate.

basically, I threw away the book. I couldn't remember why I had kept it so I tossed it, trying to lighten my load. Do I HAVE to have the book in order to complete the task? Or can someone just tell me the details? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

You have to have to book to talk to the statue, but you can do the treasure part without it. Basically, all you are missing is 3 questions about the book, which when answered correctly give you some experience points and a level of Restoration.

It is possible to get another book, but whether it is worth the trouble depends on how much you want to complete the quest.
