I think office is ALOT smaller then a 2.5 GB Rpg.

I think you missed my point on this one - the ONLY reason you have to have the CD in the drive is for the copy protection (even if the entire game is installed on your HD). Why is it OK for game publishers (not blaming the developers on this one!) to require this kind of nonsense?

If people simply refuse to buy games that have these insanely stupid CP systems in place, the publishers would eventually have to change - but unfortunately the developers like Larian would be the ones to suffer until the system is changed.

I HATE having to go searching through the sleazy side of the Internet for a no-CD crack to play my legitimately purchased games - but it's still better than having to swap CD's every time I want to play...

So how do we as consumers get to play our games in peace without jumping through all these hoops, WITHOUT negatively impacting the developers?

Anyway, here's hoping they get all the kinks worked out before the English version goes Gold. I'll be here reading carefully, hoping that I DON'T see dozens of posts about CP errors and the like, before I decide whether to spend my money...

So the honest majority of people has to pay the consequences for the dishonest minority's immoral behaviour. What else is new ?

Sad, but true...
