...I too hate leaving the CD in the PC. It can eventually damage the disc and there goes your game. I've heard it happened a lot with NWN.
Yep. I am one of those that got the cheap cd(s). Since I never previously used no-cd cracks I let it slide... usually leaving the cd a lot of the time. Id say after about 2-3 months the inside (plastic part holding no information) got a small crack in it... It wasnt too bad until it kept getting worse, and I stupidly kept using it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />
After a couple weeks It was loading and I heard a god-awful snap in my cdrom and it sounded like someone was rapping one of those huge records on a turn table. I opened it up to what I thought... a super scratched cd that wouldnt ever read again!
Since then I've been using no-cd cracks. Saves me from using cds to copy the game I've spent money on, which usually dont work anyway...
