I simply don't use MS Office. I use OpenOffice and Textmaker instead.

I would like to buy Photoshop only to show the people at Aldus <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" /> that individuals can buy it too - although it's utterly expensive. I believe that Photoshop is NOT intended as "individual software", but rather for companies, hence the price.

And have I already mentioned that localised versions ofsoftwware here in Germany has sometimes double the price than English software (worst example again : Adobe) ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />
An editor in the German mgazine C'T even wrote that these high prices for localized software (meanwhile sometimes forbidding Germans to buy much cheaper English versions) is meant to "subventionieren" English customers in the USA, for example, because they get it much cheaper.
