While I'm at it, I have an other problem, less grave, but still.
I discovered with stupefaction that an item is not set as identified if it didn't move.
To be clearer, what happened and that I reproduced many times since, is:
I open a chest (the vampire one, with "Object 6848"). I see what's inside.
I identify it instantly.
It's a tremendous object (Charm Quality 4, Armour 220, +8 Force and +8 Dexterity, +45 total resistances (don't remember the repartition), + something in Intelligence or Constitution (don't remember 'cos I don't care), and 2 bonus skills (useless ones, but still))!
I save and leave the game happy, and go to happily play my starcraft LAN (I didn't take the object in my inventory).
When I come back, stupefaction: the object is not identified again, and when identified, it gives something different (and shitty). I've lost a tremendous object...
I reproduced since many times since, in particular when I tried several times to get a good dragon belt, and I had several good ones stored so I could chose, and I lost them because I didn't move them, either in my inventory or to the floor, before I saved.
It even happens if you identify something in your own inventory but don't touch it.
Anyway, it's really annoying, but not game-killing.
However, if I can modify the objects with an editor, I'll get my vampire boots back. To think I hadn't even tried several times to get something good for these...
