This game requires a minimum (EDIT) meant to say 1100ghz processor????!

It looked like it was ready to actually run on my machine, I've wanted to upgrade for a while and it is always games that spur me on to do it.
Is there any kind of tweak that I might be able to do to trick my system.
Ok, don't snicker pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee, its a Pentium111 650mhz could overclock it to 750 but its kind of old and I don't want to fry it.
The rest of the system is cool as far as specs. My video card is an NVidia Chipset, older yeah but its still the 440 with 64megs of video ram.
I have enough system ram.

Any ideas? I must grumble a little about the fact that probably quite a few are like myself and won't be able to play the newer games unless a MotherBoard CPU upgrade happens.

I played the Demo with my Athlon 800 Thunderbird (probably first breed), and it ran fine - at least in 800x600. I had no problems with that configuration, but higher resolutions were not so good.

I ran it on my AMD 1Ghz, 256 ram and 32 Md gfx card... it ran ok, but the char creation screen was very slow. the game itself was kinda ok.

After uninstalling and re-installing the Demo it behaved. Please don't spoli me but do we get maybe a whole level on the Demo.
I knew I'd love it and the story looks intriguing.

Heh, I think I have the slowest one here yet. PIII, 600Mhz. First of all, I had to update my NVidia Vanta drivers. Now it runs, but man is it slow. But I'm happy it runs, though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mage.gif" alt="" />

Which resolution ? The lower the resolution, the better it runs, imho.

I think DATD has somethin' like that too.

on a serious note (o dear) i used to have a 500mhz
8Gbyte grapics card and 512mb ram dd used to run a bit slow but it doid the job.

good to have u back! as for now, don't u worry too much on getting the game ASAP as it's still insect-riddled, if u know what i mean. *elbowing gamegurl's ribs a bit too hard & hears something crack* <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

take your time getting it (in a few months time, i suggest) & by that time, i'm sure it'll be rock-steady. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

& don't dwell too much on negative remarks on the game. just some kinks that need to be worked out as larians are experimenting on new ideas, i'm sure as people don't complain too much on Win XP's uber crappiness so BD's just ok. & i think your system can handle the game. the requirements are exagerrated(sp?).
