First off I gotta say I'm impressed with BD's demo, well from what little I've played of it anyways (died horribly about 30 mins into it. I guess it's not a good idea to play both characters as a mage). I can already imagine the different types of puzzles that will be introduced into the game becuase of the two playable characters (I'm thinking The Lost Vikings type puzzles for anyone that's familer with the game The Lost Vikings). I do have a few questions before I take advantage of the Fan Gift Set.

1. Combat speed. I thought the speed was a bit on the slow side. Will there be an option in the final version to increase combat speed?

2. Death Knight's voice. Yes I know his voice was redone, but I actually like his voice the way it is. One thing I really like about DD was how the game didn't take it's story-line too seriously (maybe the game did...I dunno, I didn't get to finish the game. Or maybe I didn't take the story-line seriously). I found it funny; here's a big bad "Death Knight" but he sounded like my best friend who happens to be gay (yes I think the Death Knight sounded gay, and yes I think it fits the game perfectly ). So, will there be an option for the few of us that happen to like his voice the way it is? I doubt it, but it doesn't hurt to ask, now does it?

3. Stamina (or whatever it's called in-game). I thought it drained way too fast for the amount of space you'd cover by running. Will stamina drain from running be slowed down in final? If not is there a way to slow it down via skills later in the game?

4. Skill screen/Skill Tree. Now I know there's nothing that can be done about it now, but I thought I'd bring it up any ways. I can't place my finger on it, but the skill screen/skill tree seems odd; like it's out of place and doesn't really work well for this type of game. Maybe it's the scrolling window. I don't know, but something about it I just don't like. Anyones else have a problem with it?

The Speed statistic will improve combat speed (reduced time between sword swings, etc), but I don't know if that will be as significant as you'd like. I have not heard mention of an option to adjust combat speed directly.

Stamina is based on your constitution, so after a few levels investing some points in this stat, you should be able to run much longer.

Hi Yaaj!

Hehe... I remember The Lost Vikings. That sapped far too many hours of my life.

The skill tree is a bit tricky to get used to. It makes sense in the end, but it's not instinctive. Maybe something could be worked out for Divine Divinity 2.

1. Seems to me combat is a bit friskier. Not really certain of that.

2. Personally, I don't like the new Death Knight voice either. He sounds like a cross between en evil Yoda and the evil bug voice guy from Men In Black. But at least it sounds evil (in an Ernest Borgnine kind of way).

3. Stamina seems to be draining slower. Again, not sure, but it does seem that way.

4. The Skill tree? Eh, it's a tad odd, but not too bad. The only negative is that it seems restrictive, but it's early in the game.
