Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks I have some questions.

My PC is level 39 and i get completely worked by the holy grail gaurdians and the dwarfs that are destroying the elven burial grounds. Do any of you have any tips on how i should handle these situations? Also are there uses for the rings that are not magical, emerald amulets and plain amulets. I have also picked up items that say "magical ring, shield" but have no stats. thank you for the help.

Check your resistances, and the chance to hit / be hit listed under your offense / defense.

If jewelry has no stats, its only use is to sell/trade. Some people use gems to decorate their home base, but they are primarily a valuable, lightweight item you can use for trading.

Thank you on the gems and jewelery. I hit level 39 monsters at about 87%. But my resistances are a little low.

I don't think you should be having that much of a problem. Maybe you need better armour (or more restoration potions). The low resistances shouldn't hurt too much; there is a bug (fixed by the patch) that can result in negative resistances.

What class are you? The warrior's spin attack is great for crowd control, as is the mage spell Burning Wall (encircle a group of opponents in it) or Hell Spikes (at higher levels). For the holy grail, you can avoid fighting by tossing the grail until you get it to the door, then picking it up and leaving immediately.
