My one big exception to this: Deus Ex. Had to play a guy to play the game. LOVED LOVED LOVED that game. (I still get spooked by the security cameras in banks...) So it was with glee and joy I learned Deus Ex: Invisible War let you choose a female avatar. So I'm a happy happy "Ms. Alex Denton", confused but sexy butt-kicking cybabe.
Oh, BTW, I saw in another thread that the games should be on the store shelves here by April 30. Woohoo!
