Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems Patch Issues

I installed the game yesterday, restarted my comp, installed the patch, and restarted again. I played all day and my version was 1.32. Then today my game froze and I had to restart my computer via the power button. When I went to play the game it said the game hadnt been properly shut down and so it wanted to reset the config. I agreed since it said my save games would be fine. I re configged the game, but on load up my version is 1.100. I tried to re-install the patch and I get an error saying "This is not a good version of the game". I tried to re DL the patch as well and it still wont work. Can anyone tell me how to get the patch to apply? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />

The version in the bottom right of the main menu says 1.10? Strange...
I'm not sure if there is an easier fix, but you could backup your save games (each a separate folder in '..\Beyond Divinity\savegames'), then uninstall, re-boot, shut down all non-essential programs (especially anti-virus), re-install the game, re-boot, install the patch.

Just in case anyone else has this problem, I had to re-install the game completely and then re-install the patch to make it work.
