It depends on the person really. My friend and I are playing on tactical, he is saying it is way to hard. I think it is fairly difficult.
What i've noticed is strategic use of stat enchancing items really helps. As does resting as much as possible as opposed to using potions. The Battlefields are also essential if you want to do well early on.
