Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Battlefield #1 Locked Entrances

Well, I am feeling like a dummy because clearly I missed something along the way. Can someone tell me how/where to get the keys to unlock the 2nd and 3rd dungeons here? I have turned over every rock and looked all over Dungeon #1 with no luck. It is probably something simple that is going to make me feel unworthy of playing this game *sigh* <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

NEVERMIND - I didn't see the post below when asking this, skimmed right over it heh. And I did know about the seperate battlefields, I just didnt understand that each of those dungeons was one of them. I assumed the entire first battlefield I entered was one big area opened by the one key :P

*scurries back off to play and stop annoying you poor people*

Okay I feel really dumb now as I have not located an answer to this question. I have cleared the battlefield through like 2 sections and at least one dungeon. Now I have come across 2 dungeon areas that say they are locked. What do I need to do to unlock them? Or can I even do so yet? I am trying to get to them to defeatt the Edie and find some parchment piece.

You need battlefield key 2 to unlock dungeon 2 and battlefield key 3 to unlock dungeon 3. Its in the manual under battlefields if you need more info or a better explaination

Okay but are the keys to these hidden somewhere further along in act 1? Or what is the deal/ I was under the impression that each battlefield for each act was random. So am I just not looking hard enough in Act one for keys to open those dungeons or do the keys I am looking for happen to be further in the game, like in act 2?

They're hidden later in the act. I found this confusing too. And the American manual at least does NOT make this clear.
