Where exactly are you stuck, and is it a 'what do I do' stuck or 'I keep getting killed' stuck?

You can leave the undead gargoyles for now (or even skip them). I had my archer further back in the corridor and triggered their appearance with my warrior. With the archer attacking right away, my warrior took a bit of damage at first, but was ok after the first gargoyle was dead.

Going north, there is a room after the corridor turns west, then a trapped corridor going north. You can bypass the traps there by keeping close to the walls. An easier method is hinted at by the message something like 'two lights, but you still do not see'. On the western wall are 2 torches. The wall between them is an illusion, which you can walk through to bypass the traps...

If you found the battlefield key in the locked chest from the initial cell block, you can jump there to level up.

There are randomly generated areas in the game called battlefields, consisting of a group of traders / teachers, open areas and several dungeons. There are special keys which will enable you to leave the main game to trade, learn skills or gain experience by killing monsters and performing simple randomly generated quests, then return to where you left off.

Once you find a key, click on the secondary skill icon beside the character portraits and there will be a new option to enter the battlefields.
