Starting skill points and combat ease are the *only* thing these difficulty levels affect? What about skill points per level? What about the amount of experience per monster killed or quest performed? I'm tempted to use one of the easier modes because I want to emulate the combat of Divine Divinity as much as possible (I hate having to pause during combat), but at the same time I want to have a "normal" gaming experience as I usually choose normal difficulty when I play games the first time. In most games, the difficulty mode isn't a difference between action and strategy so I'm a bit confused over what to pick and still feel like I'm not cheating myself out of something (like choosing easy mode usually does in most other games.)
