Divine Divinity was a superb game and any sequel would have a very hard time living up to it, dont rush to conclusions tho, beyond divinity is a very good game in its own right, it has lots of secrets, its very interesting and pretty complex.
Dont judge by the few pics you've seen here and there, the game gets better as you play it, something very few games can boast.
Try not to think about it as a dd sequel (cuz it isnt). Its a different game using the same game engine and if you liked dd, most likely you'll enjoy this one too just like i do. It has a few shortcomings but its lots of fun to play and i'll gladly take it until the real sequel comes out.
