My main character is a mage/archer.
I am at the end of act I, with level 12 characters.
I use a bow when I run out of mana, otherwise a very powerful level 4 fire ray spreading in a 30% aperture. Damage between 50 and 130 (more or less) for each target touched.
The advantage of mage is when they are getting multiple targets spells, while a warrior can only target one ennemy at a time.
