Absolutely it's an RPG! Certainly more so than
Diablo. There's three classes which can evolve into numerous other classes through quests. There's an abundance of quests, many optional. There's a variety of personal traits to improve through practice (not skill points). Unfortunately, they started tampering with the combat system. It was best in the first game and should have stayed that way or at least similar.
