I also found another thing annoying. Namely the cd-check. I mean, I'm all for buying games etc, but last time I started the game, it took 1 minute and 30 seconds before it started up, I remember Diablo(2) having same problems with the cd-check, and sometimes (in Diablo) the game wouldn't even start, I just hope it won't come as far as that !

You could compare it with music cd's nowadays, developers are trying to find new securities ALL the time, but people with older cd-drives may have problems with their new cd and it's security system which didn't even exist when the drive was made ...
Check is ok, but I hope it won't take that long every time I start the game, or I'll be looking for a no-cd crack fast (I bought the game !).

Sometimes I even question myself the following. Why do developers even TRY to make a check like this in this sort of game. Now ok, like I said before buying games is GOOD ! But ANYBODY knows there'll be a no-cd patch anyway, and most users (yes also the ones who buy their games) like to keep their cd nicely in the box, instead of it letting it grind out in de cd tray.
One example is Unreal Tournament, I mean, they have been incorporating no-cd patches in their patches for years now ... everybody welcomes this !

And as a side note, my cd drive is a LG drive : HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8161B
Not exactly THE oldest in the world ...
Watch out with those security checks, oh and did I mention it makes a HELL of a lot of noise when checking ... (and no my drives is A ok)

PS.: where's the screenshot function ... ?
