It's in WAV folder inside your Larian Folder. It's in the OGG format, which at somepoint I must have installed into winamp because I can play them with just a double click. Very nice

Ah I see you said DD and not BD. Still, most of the old music is in BD as well

Unfortunately the third link isn't working anymore. Apart from that I've checked only the second link.

When you find a big kettle of crazy, it's best not to stir it.

That's actually a great idea. Go for it!

Btw, it's so nice to finally be able to picture a face whenever Lynn comes up

That file can be grabbed over here.

A few words about the different compositions:

Original file name: Fightdrums3
This piece was created as a prototype for the interactive music system we intended to use in Divine Divinity. It demonstrated how things could sound by combining a series of different tracks/patterns depending on the situation. This particular piece was an example of developing combat situation. Sadly we never found the time to implement the system.

Original file name: 4
In a burst of creativity Kirill wrote 12 songs, this being the 4th. This song was for a long time the first thing you heard when you left Aleroth.

Original filename:CeltHarp
This particular composition performed by a Russian harp player is well known to players of Divine Divinity as it is the central piece for the Rivertown market.

Original filename:MemOfLMK
This song was written in memory of the cancelled role playing game LMK.

Original filename:Chant
This song was one of the first in-game compositions where choirs got heavily used. It’s also known under the name Magical Forest.

Original filename:Epiz2all
This particular piece is more of a sketch. It was intended for celebrating a human victory over the orcs but that never got implemented.

Original filename:Loc1AllInOne
When Kirill got creative, he got very creative. This very nice piece was one of many where the central question was:”Very good but where exactly are we going to use this?”.

Original filename:Location2
This piece is also known as Zandalor’s run and supported a never published story set in the world of Divinity.

Original filename:Rivertown
Originally Rivertown was a very dense network of streets and houses until we decided to stretch everything so that it would be easier to recognized places. This particular piece was what you heard when you entered Rivertown for the first time.

Original filename:Taverne
This cheerful song was created when the entire office (well actually the programmers) went crazy on Riverdance. It’s Irish.

Original filename:Zamok 8mc
We are still wondering why it’s called Zamok 8mc.

Does anyone know where I can find the song that plays when you are wandering around the farmlands outside of Aleroth?

Here is a working link; Divine Divinity Music Extractor (72KB).

Alternately, Kirill Pokrovsky has the DD soundtrack (and more) on his website in mp3 format (the game music is in ogg format).
