Yes, the Necro is an exception - bugged me, too. Just follow the main plot, then you can "loot" him at one time in the game (Act 3). HAH! that really satisfied me. If you're in Act 2 => did you find 3(?) crystals in the Temple area? They are medium sized IIRC.
