To be honest, I think you have another problem, I doubt they would create a game which doesn't work with the software of one of the two biggest anti-virus companies at this time !
I even doubt that they didn't have Norton themselves at work ... (next to McAfee offcourse <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> ).
Besides, I myself hav Norton Antivirus Pro 2004, and have not yet found any problems regarding that.
I have however already had problems with Norton ITSELF, which one day just said that it wasn't installed correctly anymore and I had to reinstall it, also I one time upgraded the program with live update, and after rebootnig computer, my pc would hang at boot. Had no other solution then to reinstall windows (and believe me I know enough of pc's, it wasn't recoverable).
So I think you rather have a problem with NAV itself, then with the combination Divinity + NAV ...
Sorry to say so

Try McAfee or something ... if your that desperate ...

PS.: Don't overdo it Raze, NAV is a great program and still THE best Antivirus program together with McAfee ... others don't even come close !
Even if it did/does cause problems for (for example) 1000's of people, there are MILLIONS of them having NO problems also !
I would just advice in totally uninstalling NAV, then DELETING the SYMANTEC dir in Program files (or whatever name you gave it e.g. NAV) + ALSO the the following dir : c:\program files\common files\symantec shared, and then REINSTALL the application ! This will more then likely solve your problem, and plz don't ask my why !
