Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Can I use saves from the demo in the game v1.34?

Hi, I finished the demo recently and I would like to know if it’s possible to use my saved game from the demo in the full game version with the latest patch.
I can start all over again but I have completed every quest and killed every possible enemy (excluding live-stock) in the demo and I like the character I have built so far: level 11 fighter.

Are there any compatibility differences between the demo and the real thing?

For example, in Dungeon Siege this was not officially supported and I had to change the save-game file extension to make it work with the full game.

Not a chance, sorry. There's too much that should be in the save file that won't be because of the demo's limitations. Quests, enemies, etc. are all saved there, but they don't exist at all in the demo.

Are there any differences in the skill system between the game and the demo?

A couple of skills were changed (Alchemy was one), but the basic system is the same.
