this would be about the 3rd post on this <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> I hope this is not going to be a widespread problem

the patch seems to work fine if you do a reinstall and going directly to 1.4

LOL Kudos to Larian for working this late anyway. You people need to go to the pub and have a drink.

patch code 1.4

if( 1.32 > patchversion){
// well yoyu see the problem it should be if(patch version > 1.32 )

//install patch
}

else{
System.out.print ("you have a greater version installed");
}

Yeah it worked fine when I uninstalled/reinstalled.

BTW, the new inventory is very annoying. No way to see all my items? So if I don't know what category a particular item I'm looking for is, I have to keep clicking each category...on both my chars...to find it. Ugh. Need an "All" button, or the ability to uncheck all the buttons so I see everything. Big step backwards IMO.

and don't forget to back up any savegames
to a different folder before applying "the patch"
to avoid any "unforseen circumstances" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

"better save than sorry"... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/stupid.gif" alt="" />..i always say! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
