Post V1.4 Patch I check the vendor Olaf in Act III and there is a real problem with his inventory. Nothing he has matches name, stats, and item icon. Examples:
A staff: is named Dog's Plate Boots
A Spear: is named Normal Arrow
A Crushing weapon: is named Apprentice's Hunter's Bow of the Imp
A 2-H Axe: is named Regeneration Spiked Belt of Reflexes
A Training Sword: is named Ranger's Emerald Ring of Amazement
A Short Bow: is named Ranger's Silver Ring of Granite
A Crossbow: is named Holy Sandals of the Damned
A Rod: is named Asmodheus Leggings
Everything else in the inventory has similar incorrect names. So I bought the Training Sword (named Ranger's Emerald Ring of Amazement) and it is in my inventory as an Armor item, rather than a weapon, but when I click to equip it then is goes to the weapon slot on my character. Name is still incorrect and when I unequip it, it returns to the Armor page, not the weapon page in my inventory.
The stats on the Training sword are stats you normally find on a ring. I am afraid to buy anything because I'm not sure what effects it will have in combat.
The vendor Elkar has the same problem with the one weapon in her inventory. It is named Dragon's Rags Gloves Black, and the stats appear to be meant for an armor item, not a weapon.
Same problem with the vendor Brian with all of his items.
