Yes, I had already applied the patch and went back to the very end of Act II, and started Act III all over again. Otherwise the inventories on the vendors would not have changed.
Also I have a bunch of items in 2 chests that I am storing in the BattleField. Those items are all fine, it is just the vendors inventories that are having a problem.
