Anybody else think this game, only distributed on the Web, is an incredible RPG/strategy hybrid?
Hell, has anybody else but me actually tried this game?

Could you post a link? Sounds interesting.

Certainly. You can learn more about it here. It's a remarkably freeform, in-depth game set in the Runequest universe, where you play a tribal leader. There are literally more than 500 potential plots--some tiny, some large, and having major ramifications, depending upon your decisions--and many of which may never show up in any given game. Lots of personality, too.

My pleasure. It's one of those games I keep returning to over time, trying out new strategies, doing more exploring, etc. It's a shame the Web sales discouraged A-Sharp from doing a followup.

Ive heard of it from Home Of The Underdogs and know of the world from owning the Dragon Pass table top wargame. Ive never bought it though due to previous absense of a credit card that made online purchase awkward to say the least.

Well, at less than $20 US, it's not very expensive. You might try contacting them to see if some other payment method could be arranged. Try kodp2003@a-sharp.com. Or else try the developer, David Dunham, at david@a-sharp.com. It's a small company, and they're pretty informal that way. He's answered my inquiries via email, before.
