Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Forge Key?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been through the Citadel back and forth a hundred times and am losing it!
I found the Saphire key, (don't remember where!) but cannot locate the big key for the forge. There is a locked room before you go into the gong room which I haven't been able to unlock. Is it in there? Am I missing a key for that room?
Am I losing my mind?
The only answer I have is to the last question................

somewhere just infront of the gond is the key for that locked door ( i think a guardf drops it perhaps) and further on from that... [color:"purple"] after the gong is a set of stair go up there and u meat samual, he leaves and u have to fight hhis bodyguards kill the mto get 2 keys for the rooms left and right of where samual was standing (in 1 of those rooms is the key to the furnace. Please, look for a lever south of the locked door.

The sapphire key you've got is for a very well hidden chest in General Bram's secret hatch.

I never went back into Samuel's place and killed the guards. When I first went
in there I was getting destroyed so I ran out and left the guards by the door.
The lever opened the other door not the one I was trying to get into, so it must have been one of the keys the guards dropped.
Thanks for all the info, now I continue on to the forge!
