I am soooo confused at this point. I have played then patched, played then patched. I'm supposed to use this save, but not that one. I have used this work around and that work around. If one thing works right, something else doesn't. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> If I do continue with the saves that I have I will be too afraid I used the wrong save to continue with the current patch, and run into a game stopper later in the game. Or lose out on a really cool item because it was corrupted.
So, for piece of mind I am going start over. I have put it off upto this point, but as I stated I'm too confused to rely on the saves that I have. I have some questions before I start over.
Will these things be fixed in v1.42?
My summoning dolls have never worked, I double click on them and get a flash of them and then they are gone. I don't even get a chance to see what exactly they do.
The battle fields have been a train wreck from the start. Missing baddies, quests reoccuring in my quest log after completion, the whole merchant money issues and never restocking. To name a few.
My inventory; Pick a format and stick to it, all the people will not be happy all the time. I just want to get used to one format and not think about it.
Items and baddies; desciption of items don't match stats and weights. And baddies don't match descriptions. Such as a regular looking spider actually being a black spider, makes a big difference since they regenerate. Or a Death Knight Patrol that tries to pummel you to death.
And the most important question of all; Will I have to start over again when another patch comes out?
In most circumstances I would just shelf my game until all is ironed out (and I know Larian will do it, they are the most dedicated i've encountered) but i'm on vacation and hoped to enjoy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> when I could actually not worry about loss of sleep and food. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
P.S.
I'm not complaining or threatening to return my game, I'm not mad or hate Larian. I'm just looking for direction.
