Arianna,
A couple of things that I will be doing from now on:
1.) I keep backup copies of my saved games in a new file I named "SavedGameBackups" (glad I have a large hard drive).
2.) Will have a saved game named "BeforePatchxxx" and one named "AfterPatchxxx" and move copies to my backup directory.
